Build-to-Rent targets the expanding renter market that seeks secure long-term rentals with enhanced amenities.

How we deliver Build-to-Rent

Horizon Housing Realty is thrilled to be involved in Build-to-Rent projects in collaboration with our parent company, CHL, along with other investors and developers on future initiatives. HHR has developed a specific Build-to-Rent strategy aimed at meeting tenancy and rental income targets in line with market expectations and experience. These plans can be customized for various Build-to-Rent developments and will be guided by local market research and comprehensive comparative market assessments.

Where we deliver Build-to-Rent

HHR has already delivered Build-to-Rent management services for numerous projects, with more in the pipeline across Australia. One of the most notable projects HHR contributed to is the Ground Lease Model 1 (GLM1) project, which has successfully delivered over 1,100 new homes, featuring a mix of community housing managed by CHL and market and affordable housing managed by HHR.

In addition, the GLM2 project is currently in the delivery phase and is expected to reach completion in Q4 2026. HHR is proud to provide tenancy management services for both the market and affordable housing components, comprising 600 dwellings within the broader 1,300+ dwelling portfolio.
